Knowing the medical treatment of hysteria used to be a thing, I thought this would be a really interesting read, but it fell completely flat. Not only were the historical details so far off as to make me wonder if I had accidentally downloaded a modern book, the "romance" was beyond implausible, even for the thinly disguised erotica this was. The "I love you"s uttered after one revelation and a bunch of kinky sex (no getting to know each other as a person AT ALL) are just off-putting. Furthermore, the writing is terrible. Too much unnecessary narration, a la 'he stood up and walked toward the door to exit the dining room, then went through the door' (Not an exact quote). Punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors abound. It was actually painful to read at some points and I found myself editing in my head to make it better. Not sure why I bothered to finish it except that I always finish a book once I start it. Will avoid this author in future.Product details

Really? Not to be rude, but I paid to read this. Whoever is giving this book anything more than one or two stars, can't be serious. Don't purchase it; you will be disappointed for sure.

I enjoyed the story and truly liked getting to know the characters. It move quick at the end. I'll agree the bra and panties were distracting from the story as they would not have been worn.
Really enjoyed this book. Surprisingly, Andy turned out to be a big favorite. The story line could have been true for that era which made it very believable. And if you like sexy, delicious scenes, they're in there!
Caught by Lolita London is a sizzling hot historical romance. Caught is a well written book with awesome characters. Thomas and Jenny's story is full of drama, suspense and sexy bits. I enjoyed reading Caught and look forward to reading more from Lolita London in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Dr. Winterbourne conducts successful treatment of female patients for hysteria. A new maid in his household hidden away in the closet of his examination room. That chapter's account of what happened grabbed me.
How those two happened to be in the same room and what occurs later makes for a well written story.
